The Department of Economic Development in Ajman (Ajman DED) is participating in GITEX Global Week 2022, which will be held over 5 days from 10 to 14 October 2022 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
As part of the preparations for the participation of the Ajman DED, under the umbrella of the Ajman Government, which brings together various government entities and is represented by the Department of Digital Ajman that leads the digital transformation of the Ajman Government, H.E. Abdulla Ahmed Al Hemrani, Director-General of the Ajman DED, said that the Department is keen to participate annually in the most important technical event, which keeps pace with our current era and is in line with the strategy of the Ajman Government. The Department always pays attention to participating in all the leading conferences and exhibitions held in the country, which will advance the emirate of Ajman and achieve the Department's strategy, which aspires to transform Ajman into a smart city that achieves happiness and prosperity for its residents.
Al Hemrani added that participation in GITEX is an opportunity to learn about the latest IT developments, noting that the Department will announce 4 new digital platforms, where the services of the new applied platforms will be presented, which aims to simplify the customer's journey and provide an easy and smooth experience of services rendered to partners and community members. The Ajman DED's participation in GITEX 2022 will enhance the position of the Department at the local, regional and global levels, as it will exchange experiences with the parties participating in this prominent global event, in which many companies participate and is expected to attract a large number of visitors. He added that the Ajman DED aims by participating in this Exhibition to contribute to spreading the culture of electronic transformation and introducing the Department's services available on the portal, pointing out that the Ajman DED has been providing new innovative e-services in each edition of this Exhibition.
