The Department of Economic Development – Ajman (Ajman DED) announced the launch of the “Go Business” integrated economic license service, as part of its ongoing efforts to facilitate business operations, simplify procedures, and shorten the customer journey. The service transforms the process of issuing commercial licenses into five easy and fully digital steps, completed quickly and efficiently.
Ajman DED confirmed that the “Go Business” service aligns with its strategy to enhance government services and improve the customer experience by reducing the number of procedures and visits while increasing transaction efficiency. This contributes to supporting the business environment and encourages investors and entrepreneurs to establish their projects with ease and clarity.
Ajman DED explained that the integrated economic license process consists of two main procedures. The first is the issuance procedure, which includes data collection, coordination with relevant authorities, and completing all requirements until the license is issued. The second is the documentation procedure, which covers creating, signing, and electronically approving the memorandum of association, ensuring reliable and smooth processes without the need for physical visits.
Ajman DED outlined the five steps of issuing a license via “Go Business”. The first step is logging in via UAE PASS, followed by reserving the trade name. The third step involves registering activity details with automatic documentation of the memorandum of association to complete license issuance. The fourth step is electronic payment, and the fifth and final step is the issuance of the commercial license, along with the membership certificate and establishment card.
Ajman DED concluded by reaffirming its commitment to continuously developing digital services and providing innovative solutions that enhance Ajman’s economic competitiveness while offering a simpler and more transparent customer experience. Citizens, investors, and entrepreneurs are encouraged to take advantage of the new service to complete commercial license procedures smoothly through the approved digital channels.
