The Department of Economic Development in Ajman (Ajman DED) won 3 Excellence Awards in the fifth round of the Ajman Government Excellence Award.
HH Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council has, honored Ajman DED for winning the awards under the categories of the best government agency in the customer satisfaction index for electronic services, the best government agency on the statistical maturity index, and the best practice in developing government policies.
On this occasion, HH Abdullah Ahmed Al-Hemrani, Director-General of Ajman DED expressed his happiness for winning these awards, saying, “Excellence and swiftness is our permanent goal to achieve leadership in the economic field and to enhance our strategic objectives in supporting economic growth. Excellence is a permanent approach that we practice, not only an award that we get, but we will also continue with the work team to develop our system of excellence in the organization so as to upgrade the government work and achieve the results of our efforts through facilitating the customer's journey and developing the emirate's economy.
Al-Hemrani added that the Department's winning the award as the best government agency on the customer satisfaction index for electronic services is an essential support for what we hope and strive to achieve, which is to serve the customer and facilitate his journey.
Regarding the Department’s winning the award under the category of best practice in developing government policies, Al-Hemrani said that the department seeks to achieve the best in the field of studies, research, and economic policies, which are an important basis for starting with development and achieving the goals and objectives that we seek.
He pointed out that the Department's winning the award as the best government agency on the Statistical Maturity Index is a matter, we are proud of, as Ajman DED depends on statistics and significant data that support work in the economic sector and its growth. In conclusion, Al-Hemrani indicated that the Department's winning of these awards is just the beginning towards success and development leadrrship.
