The Department of Economic Development - Ajman (Ajman DED), in collaboration with the Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media (Ajman Tourism), announced the launch of the third edition of the Food Festival, as part of a strategic partnership aimed at supporting the emirate’s tourism and economic development. The festival will run from 25 December to 4 January at the Heritage District, daily from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
The festival underscores the complementary roles of the organizing entities in enhancing Ajman’s position as a destination that combines authentic tourism experiences with economic growth opportunities. It contributes to stimulating tourism activity, increasing footfall at heritage sites, and creating wider avenues for marketing local business products and supporting the food and beverage sector.
Ajman DED and Ajman Tourism appreciated the cooperation and support provided by the Municipality and Planning Department - Ajman (MPDA), acting as a logistical partner in ensuring the festival’s success. This included providing support related to the site and its facilities at the Heritage District, ensuring the venue was ready to welcome visitors and participants and deliver a safe and comprehensive experience for all.
Both entities emphasized that the festival aligns with the strategic objectives of Ajman, including economic diversification, supporting small and medium enterprises, enhancing business competitiveness, and elevating the visitor experience through high-quality events that uphold the heritage identity while generating a direct economic impact on the food, café, and ancillary services sectors.
Ajman DED and Ajman Tourism also invited business owners in the food, café, and catering sectors, as well as suppliers and entities supporting the food supply chain, to participate in the festival and leverage this platform to expand their customer base, increase promotional opportunities, and build new partnerships in an environment that brings together the public, tourism, and business.
The festival is expected to attract a wide range of visitors and families, boosting economic activity in the emirate and enriching the tourism experience in the Heritage District with an atmosphere that combines tradition, local flavors, and culinary innovation.
